The COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown that it has forced us into has really made us all begin to think a little differently. Many of us are learning to slow down, evaluate what’s really important and assess what we might change going forward. Working from home has shown people what they miss out on at home during that commuting time and those who aren’t working have settled into a slower pace of life, reading more, learning more, and appreciating more.
Here at simplyendo, we’ve all gone through the same emotions as you. The initial fear and worry, the restlessness at the start of lockdown, followed by a calming and settling period that has really allowed us time to think about what we want to offer going forward. We believe times are changing and we want to move with them!
That’s why we’ve decided to add a virtual option of our popular 10-day Endodontic Programme, meaning you can learn all things endo right from the comfort of your own home. We believe our online training offers all the benefits of face-to-face learning without the traveling time or costs, accommodation costs, or time out from work or family life.
How will it work?
Online training is something we have been thinking about for a while in order to allow international dentists to take advantage of our courses. This means that the wheels were already in motion but COVID-19 has just accelerated things!
We have invested in the most up to date technology to make it possible to bring live training directly to you. The morning sessions will be lecture based, while the afternoons will be hands-on. Prior to the course commencing, we will send you everything you require for the hands-on element, all you will need is your own loupes and dental motor, which is usual for our regular courses.
The training will be interactive, so you will still be able to participate and ask questions as usual, we actively encourage this! In fact, many people may find it easier to do so in the comfortable environment of their own home rather than in a classroom setting.
We will also provide the option to attend our site in Formby for a day to carry out some face to face hands-on training, but this is not compulsory and just an option if you feel you would like to.
Of course, our normal programmes are still available, we’re not giving up on the classroom at all! The virtual 10-day Endodontic Programme is simply designed to provide an alternative option for those who can’t, or prefer not to travel to our Formby site.
