Just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Formby, our neighbouring town hosts a spectacular air show. The Southport Air Show returns to the seaside resort for a weekend of aircraft, taking to the skies to dip, dive, and swoop above the crowds on the beach below.
The show is on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th September 2023 and is strictly ticketed, opening at 10:00 and closing at approximately 17:00 on both days.
The Red Arrows will perform a spectacular display on Saturday 9th September 2023 at 12:00, alongside other aircraft including the Eurofighter Typhoon, Chinook helicopter and Team Raven display team and the Supermarine Spitfire.
The postcode for the air show is PR8 1RY. However, the Southport Air Show has a traffic management plan with some road closures in place, so once you see the yellow AA signs for the event, stop following your Sat Nav and follow these signs.
