The Congress is aimed at the entire dental team, particularly:

  • ESE specialist, certified, guest, postgraduate student and dental nurse members;
  • ESE society members (members of national societies affiliated with the ESE);
  • Endodontists, General Dental Practitioners, Postgraduate Students, Clinical Academics and Scientists, Hospital-based dentists; and our colleagues from the dental industry.

The ESE hopes to attract not only European participation, but friends and colleagues from across the world who share our passion for Endodontology and its associated science and practice.

The Scientific Programme will have:

An extensive range of pre-congress courses on Wednesday 6th September 2023;

Multiple lecture halls from Thursday 7th until Saturday 9th, each with a specific focus:

  • Halls 1 and 2 – two parallel sessions in the main programme with invited world-leading speakers covering the knowledge-base and clinical techniques in Endodontics;
  • Hall 3 – dedicated to symposia with opportunities for in-depth coverage and discussion in key/controversial areas;
  • Hall 4 – sponsored lectures;
  • Halls 5 and 6 – prize competitions and oral presentations on freely chosen subjects.

ESE Wladimir Adlivankine Research Prize and Education Prize Competitions (following acceptance of abstracts);

Social events will include:

The Opening Ceremony on the evening of Wednesday, 6th September 2023 followed by the Welcome Reception in the exhibition area;

ESE Reception on the evening of Thursday, 7th September 2023;

Congress Dinner on the evening of Friday, 8th September 2023.

A large trade exhibition with the latest new equipment, instruments and materials will be held from 19:00 Wednesday, 6th September 2023 until 16:00 Saturday, 09th September 2023.

Tours and excursions for accompanying persons and participants before, during and after the congress are available and information will be provided during the congress.

THE VENUE

ESE Helsinki 2023 will be held at Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre.

Postgraduate Certificate

Year 1 of the MSc in Endodontology. An additional 6 days of study, perfecting everything you have learned from the 10 day programme to OSCE standards.

Postgraduate Diploma

Year 2 of the MSc in Endodontology. 12 days of studying advanced topics such endodontic microscopy, innovations in endodontics, research methods and statistics.

MSc in Endodontology

Year 3 of the MSc in Endodontology and the final component for the Masters Degree. You’re given approximately 12 months to submit a dissertation based on an endodontic topic of your choosing. You’ll be appointed a personal supervisor to who will provide 1:1 coaching.
