Why is a consult now required for most cases?

At simplyendo we consider your patient's experience with us to be very important. We have found an initial consultation as an excellent opportunity to discuss issues about the case and the treatment with your patients. It is also a good way of your patient getting to know us and the environment and universally we have found that your patients recognise the value of this initial visit greatly.

Fees

All endodontic treatment carried out at our referral centre at simplyendo is on a private basis. Please note our revised fees which will be effective for all referrals received at our centre from 1st April 2009.

We will always advise patients about treatment costs and treatment options at their first visit. (Fees correct as of April 2009)

How to settle accounts

We accept most major credit and debit cards (except American Express), cheques (supported by cheque guarantee card) and cash. Due to the increasing charges being passed onto us for processing credit cards, please be aware that a 2.5% fee will be added to patient's accounts if they choose to settle with a credit or charge card. There are no extra fees to pay if settled with a debit card.

Please note that it is our policy that accounts are settled at every visit.

*why is a consult now required for most cases?

On receipt of a referral, we assess the referral and decide on whether an additional consultation appointment is required based upon the following factors:

If no radiograph is received with the referral, a consult appointment will be booked.

If you have recommended a consultation or an assessment, then we will schedule a consultation appointment.

If there is some doubt about the diagnosis or long term prognosis for the tooth, then a consultation will also be booked
